Dress: Diane von Furstenburg (SUPER on sale years ago)
Tights: Nordstrom
Shoes: Swedish Hasbeens
I was looking through my closet over the weekend, seeing what pretty frocks I could pull out of the woodwork (and taking note of how desperately my closet needs a purging, yikes), when I pulled out this dress. It's definitely one of my favorite dresses ever. I was thumbing through a sale rack at Nordstrom something like 7 years ago when I found this dreamy daffodil printed dress by Diane von Furstenburg that was marked down to something like 75% off. The print is a little bolder than what I would usually wear at the time, but once I tried it on, I knew it needed to come home with me.
I adore the daffodil print on this dress, can't get over how flattering the cut is, and love that it has pockets (duh). What's not to love? Since we had such a gorgeous weekend, it had to get worn.
Other than wearing awesome daffodil print dresses, the weekend was fairly uneventful. I spent most of the weekend at home relaxing, cleaning, and cooking. I made some really cute cupcakes for Easter that I'll be sharing later this week, and also made some chili!
I've been really trying to take to heart one of my goals for the year, which is to eat better. I've been doing really well with it lately, but with Easter coming up, I obviously needed to whip up something to sate my sweet tooth. We'll talk more about cupcakes later this week- promise!
Did you guys get up to anything fun this weekend?
XOXO
Becca

DeleteI celebrated my husband's birthday this weekend. It was pretty fun, though I sliced my finger with a mandolin. Live and learn.
ReplyDeleteWell that sounds lovely except for the finger slicing! Yowch. I hope you heal up quick!
DeleteI love the shape of that dress, I feel like wrap dresses are always super flattering! Plus with a fun print like that you can't go wrong!

What a lovely dress! It goes with those shoes very nicely!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with your hair - I so want to try that when my hair gets a little bit longer!
Kudos to you for keeping to your goal of eating better! It's okay to indulge yourself a just a little! (I emphasize just a little because I tend to equate that to a pint of ice cream.) Doesn't it feel good to know that you're taking care of yourself?
Why thank you! It's super easy, so it would be worth trying. It's definitely good to be taking care of myself. Hopefully the eating better will get easier as time goes on. That or sugary things will stop being so dang tasty!
Deletecuuutest dress! it's so lovely on you!

DeleteWhat a pretty print- you look GORGEOUS and ready to take spring head on! I love finding good deals like that. If you're ever in PHX we have the only Last Chance in the country which is the final stop for Nordstrom stuff- like after the rack and pre-worn returns. It's insane but you can find some pretty amazing stuff :)
ReplyDeleteAw shucks! Thanks, Lisa! That sounds amazing. If I'm ever there I will go for sure. I might raid your closet while I'm at it! ; )
