What a bummer, right?
Well, I promise, this is not going to be a total bummer of a post, because today, I wanted to pop in and share some awesome videos that have made my heart happy this week.
Are you ready? Let's get you a happy heart, too!
Baby goats. I'm obsessed. One of my new life goals is to live somewhere I can have goats so I can get a baby goat and watch it run around. I am 100% serious.
This video has made me crack up more times than I'm willing to admit. What can I say? I'm a cat loving nerd.
This! Oh my god. What a little survivor!

Dolly Parton is a national treasure. I adore her.
And of course, some clips from Golden Girls. Thank YOU for being a friend!
I hope these put a smile on your face and spring in your step (and also made you giggle at how much of a nerd I am)!
XOXO

Awww, you poor thing. Best wishes and prayers for your Grandma! Hang in there! Sending you happy vibes from Texas.
ReplyDeleteI hope things get better for you soon, especially with your Grandma. I love The Golden Girls so thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh girl, I understand everything you're saying! I really feel like jobs should offer more personal days. I wouldn't even mind them being unpaid, just being free for the recovery day, ya know? I hope everything picks up this week, the videos should help! I hope your grandma has a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteTotally. Thanks, lady. I'm hoping things will improve soon!
DeleteThose weeks are tough! Definitely had them before. I hope this week goes much better!
ReplyDeleteAh, I love Dolly Parton! She's so adorable and funny!
And kitties and baby animals! Those make EVERYTHING better.

This is great. So sorry to hear about your struggles. I always find they hit me so many at a time. And often with one of my grandmothers as well. Hoping everything works out for you. The videos are great. Dear Kitten is one of my favorites ever right now. It makes me laugh every time. I also, love Dolly Parton. It all happened while I was quarantined in my apartment during the holidays... I caught a 2 AM Christmas movie with her in it and ever since I really really love her. Have you seen Unlikely Angel? It's just 90's, made for TV, Dolly Parton perfection. :) -Alexandra

Every day on my way home from work, I drive past this little field (that's currently full of yellow flowers, you know, just to make it more scenic!) that have two horses and a goat on it. The goat had a kid this year and his little antics make me smile ever day. I'm with you, I'd love a goat!
ReplyDeleteHope everything went well with your gran! xx
I hope you're doing a bit better since you posted these internet gems. They certainly made my night a bunch happier. xo
