Weekly Wishlist: Transitional Pieces

Alright guys, it's official. While I'm still in summer mode, all I can think about shopping-wise is transitional pieces. I want cute stuff that I can wear all summer, and then throw on with tights and a jacket when it starts getting chilly! Are you guys on board? I hope so!

First up, we have this amazing necklace from Woodii. I'm so head over heels for all of Woodii's terrarium necklaces. This one features lichen and moss, along with a beautiful iridescent butterfly wing. I love the gorgeous jewel tones in this piece and think it would go well with just about everything in my closet!

Also in jewel tone-land, how cute is this skirt from ModCloth? I love the cut of it and think it would look equally cute with either a t-shirt or a pretty blouse, like this one from Boden. Heck, you could even layer that blouse under a cute crew-neck sweater for a super sweet look. 

I also can't get over this cute polka dot cardigan from Ruche. It would be perfect to have in your tote bag to keep you warm when you're out late on a summer night, or to wear as a light outer layer on one of those lovely warm, but crisp fall days. Have I mentioned that I romanticize the hell out of fall? Cuz golly, do I!

Last but not least, let's talk about these flats from ModCloth. How cute is that gold detail at the toe? It's also, actually, perfect for me. I love the look of pointy-toed flats, but usually annihilate the toes with my clumsy walking. This gold detail would be so helpful for saving the toes from my clumsy ways. Not to mention the fact that the color combination is dreamy and they would look equally good with or without tights!

So yep, apparently I'm really pumped about fall coming, but don't worry! I'm still really looking forward to enjoying the rest of the summer before fall shows its pretty face!
