Tooled Leather Bag: c/o Shop Said Kelley

Woah, guys. Can you feel winter coming? After the most glorious October I can remember, November has brought on some chilly, dark days! Alright, alright, some of that is because Daylight Savings Time just ended, but really! It's dark. I left work at 5:30 yesterday and it had already been totally dark for a good hour. Crazy!

Well, the colder, darker days can only mean one thing: layering on cozy clothes to go outside, and spending more lazy days cozying up inside. Ok, that was two things, but ya'll, I'm so pumped to be pulling out pretty sweater dresses, warm tights, wool jackets, mittens, and the coziest of scarves.

The outfit above is what I wore to run around town with Katie Marie V on Saturday. Ok, so there was also a wool coat and a giant scarf, but you get the picture. Man, Saturday was a blustery, blustery day (Katie and I seem to have a habit of hanging out on blustery days...). In fact, power had gone out in just about every neighborhood surrounding mine. I'm lucky to live in a little pocket of the neighborhood where the power almost never goes out!

Since it was a chilly day, I bundled up in one of my favorite sweater dresses, some colorful tights, and a cozy sweater. To top off the whole look, I grabbed this completely gorgeous tooled leather purse from Shop Said Kelley.

If ya'll are fans of pretty vintage finds, you have GOT to go check out Shop Said Kelley, which just opened up yesterday! The shop is full of pretty vintage clothes, housewares, and accessories. Kelley was sweet enough to send me this leather bag and I couldn't love it any more.

In honor of the shop opening, Kelley is offering you lovely readers 15% off your order with the code GRANDOPENING. The code is valid through Friday night (11/8), so get shopping!

Til next time!

Yes, the days are surely getting shorter. Today it almost seemed that I was doing my groceries at night (it was only 5:45!

  4. Becca, I'm laughing after seeing your photos--not at you, of course!--but because I seriously had almost the exact same purse once upon a time!! My boyfriend (who would now be your dad ;-) ) gave it to me for my 19th or 20th birthday and I loved it so much. Dang, I wish I still had it so I could pass it on to you . . . But it makes me so happy to see you with a similar purse of your own. XOXO
